Apple tries to kill early adopters
I've been lusting after a new MacBook Pro ever since they were announced a few months ago. As much as it kiils me inside to dive back into the Apple camp, you can't beat the design of these things... plus x86 means I can run more than just OS X.
Anyway, I decided to hold out until revision 2 of the MacBook due to Apple's inability to get technology right the first time. They always rush stuff out the door without thinking through long term implications. For example, making laptops out of titanium which reduced wireless signal strength by about 50%.
Anyway, it looks like the new "MagSafe" power connector (held by magnetic force so it can breakaway easily) is not so "safe".
